In January 2014, the Wall Street Journal ran an article called “Looking for a New Old House?” which took a look at the emergence of a new homebuyer, one who preferred the classical look of early American architecture. That idea didn’t come as a surprise to us, as one of our Texas clients had been successfully building brand new homes with a decidedly early American feel for years.
